On the previous blog I wrote about maiko. Maiko is a symbol of Kyoto culture. Today, I saw the maiko at the square of Kyoto station of the subway. They came for PR of new crackers. Maiko is not uncommon in Kyoto city, but also attracted people's attention. A shooting corner was also set up. I had my picture taken with maiko. It was a good time!
In Japan it is customary to visit shrines at the beginning of the year. There are many people going regardless of religion. There are many shrines in Kyoto city with many customers at first. I went to Yasaka Shrine in Gion. ↓
