Kumamoto earthquake

The other day there was a big earthquake in Kumamoto Prefecture. Seismic intensity of the earthquake was 7.
Aftershocks have frequently followed.

In the area of which damage was terrible , a lot of people are living in shelters.
I just pray a speedy recovery.

Earthquakes frequently occur in Japan.
People are accustomed.
If you are experiencing an earthquake, you may follow the instructions at that time.

"Yamabuki"-Bright yellow flowers-

The season of cherry blossoms is over in Kyoto, but bright yellow flowers has been blooming. 
In Japanese this flower is called "Ysmabuki". 

I calm the feeling looking at the flower of Yamabuki.

A variety of cherry blossoms in Kyoto

In the town of Kyoto, the season of the Someiyoshino cherry tree was over almost. 
However, you can still see the other cherry blossoms. 
The many in Kyoto city, is a weeping cherry tree. 

You can also see a double cherry now. 

Sakura seen last in Kyoto city flower is the "cherry Omuro" of Ninna-ji Temple.
I can enjoy Sakura still.

Someiyosino cherry tree that is loved in Japan

The majority of Japan now is facing a season of cherry blossom. 
In Japan, you can see a variety of cherry blossoms, but the blossom you can see most is a Yoshino cherry tree. 

This flower will bloom all at once in the absence of leaves. After the flower has fallen, the leaves will trees grow. 
Beauty of fall flowers seems to fit the feelings of the Japanese people. I also love the Yoshino cherry tree.

Spring of taste, "Hotaruika"

"Hotaruika" in Japanese language is a small squid. 
In Japan, you can eat the delicious squid in the spring.

"Ekiben" 7 :Lunches sold in stations of Japan

I went in the bullet train to Tochigi Prefecture from Kyoto last month.
I bought the station lunch at Tokyo Station at that time.
That's the photo below.

The lunch is a Yokohama specialty "Shumai bentou", dumplings lunch.
I tasted the ingredients of Chinese cuisine. Dishes are arranged to suit the Japanese taste.
There is the largest Chinatown of Japan in Yokohama.
I felt the lunch box to symbolize such a Yokohama.
