Increase of biotope in Japan

I was playing in Hyogo Prefecture Ashiya City park on Sunday. The park has a biotope. I came across the creatures and plants that can be seen from a long time ago in the land. 
Previously, in the Japan of the children's park or school garden, by images and ornate, with an emphasis on ease of care, vegetation was chosen. 
There were many  alien species that does not fit in Japan of vegetation.
The colorful tulips and pansies I saw well. 
However, a change is seen now. 
People have come to think of trying to take care of the ecosystem of the land . One of them is the increase of the biotope in parks and schools . In Japan , biotope has been seen as a space that reflects the vegetation and fauna of the land . There is also a funny biotope that is out of the ecosystem spirit of the land , but I have been expected to increase in the biotope.
